hi all. wondering if anyone can help me. i have messenger 7.5 installed and then installed messenger plus.  everything works right except the sounds,. i can use the standard sounds but when someone tries to send me a sound it wont save it.  when the sound comes up in the message box i get this ( try again) after the name of the sound. when i try to send a saved sound that i have made it says please check your security setting. every thing seems to be set up right but obviusly it isnt. i have tried reinstalling bothe messengers and disabaling my firewall but nothing seems to resolve it. any help would be brilliant. not far off of going back to standard messeneger. i cant hear sounds that people send me either so not much point.

thanks....i have been though all the options and theres nowt there that seems to work. although i am a novice with this kinda thing . its enough to do my head in lol

just cant seem to get them working. i have posted in the thread with ping results. anyone know what they are looking at?

can u state complete versions of everythind (like 7.5.xx.xxx)

sorry. didnt realise this was classed as a double post. new to this kind of forum so dont undetsand all the terminology. thanks to all the people that offered advice. i am actully going to uninstall the plus as to be honest its just far too much agro for a few sounds. .......many thanks for any advice you have given

Chances are that the sound server is down, I have been having a lot of trouble with it lately.

Really? well, in that case, somebody has to email me about it... I'll check it out right now.
