O.P. Help me finish setting up "mediawiki" [solved]

ok I got it all working except

the "MySQL server"

I put "localhost" in it as thats what I was told to put in from here

then at the top of the page it dosent work because it gives me a

"Trying to connect to MySQL on localhost as root...

* MySQL error 1045: Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: YES)"

what does that mean and how can I fix....I setup the database and stuff

the database name and pass are good but it cant connect to the server

what do I need to put inside the MySQL box instead of "localhost"

you got the name and pass wrong. check them again. did it add "sonicsam_" to the beginning of the db or user?
