hi,

any of you know what the plug in or program is called for seeing when one of your contacts opens a window with you?

It's called stuff-plug and can be found at www.stuffplug.com. Bear in mind that it's not 100% reliable due to the method it uses (it gives the message when a contact views your display picture - so it may display the message say if they just look at your contact card or when you change your display picture.)

There are two programs that can do this. One is a Messenger Plus! plugin (Stuffplug NG), and the other is a Msn Messenger Addon (Messenger Discovery X).

To enable the option go to:

Plus! > Preferences > Plugins > Stuffplug NG > Configure > Conversations > Select: Show a popup when someone opens the conversation with you
