   where can I get the plug-in that notifies youwhen a contact opens a chat window with you?

Yep, that will do the trick, but remember that it's not correct 100% of the time.

There's also OpenConvo, which should be in the Plugins database.

hey there...

i been trying all day to find good open/close window notifiers... which one do you think is best? i tried StuffPlug-NG plugin but that only had an option for open window popup. sucks... tried another one (Messenger Discovery X or something) that didn't even use an msn popup but it's own orange popup that showed email only :/

Not trying to put down the Messenger Discovery X team... But I don't reccommend that one at all... All I had were problems when I used it... (probably about 3-4 months ago now)...

Stuffplug-NG is the one I use.... Why do you think it sucks?... I think it works very well compared to many others.

stuffplug ng is good and i still use it for other things like timestamp and many more features... but the popup notify for open/close conversation is what i didn't like. if it popped up a notify window for when they closed a window then i'd be 100% with it. unfortunately i gotta use openconvo notifier which isn't too bad. i would actually prefer using stuff plug ng with that feature if they had that close window popup :/

They don't have a pop up... but I thought they had a notifier... In the contact window it will tell you. It's close... and I think it's a lot better than having a toast come up.

i quit like the popup/toast/notify window to come up.

Yeah... I guess it's really personal preference... but it works well for what I use it for so I'm happy with it I guess.
