I need help with my CD drive. When i put in CDs my CD drive reads the CD and says there is nothing on the CD which there is. This has been happning with all my CDs, even when i put a CD in to install a program my CD drive reads that it has nothing on it.

Can someone please help?

what Brand CD Drive is it? , have you tried updating its Firmware for it?

my CD drive is a DVD/CD-RW drive and its my E drive. and no i havent tryed updating the firmware for it becuase i dont know what that is lol ?

why dont you buy one of those cd drive/player cleaners.  they are cd's that have muisc on them and it has a little brush on the bottom on the cd which cleans the lens they arent expensive at all and they work extremely great.  i have one from maxell, its called the maxell lens cleaner.

HP

MY drive is a HP cd-writer/ dvd-rom combo and on that page i could not find that.

still cant find it. HP cd-writer/dvd-rom combo 48x24x16x48 max speed.


any other suggestions?
