I am planning to change the power/battery icon in the system tray with Resource Hacker and Replacer...

So, a nice simple question...

What and where is the file that contains said icons?

I can't say for certain, but try looking in powercfg.cpl in your system32 folder, are these the ones you mean?

I didn't think Control panel applets had icons inside them?

Your looking for

%windir%\system32\batmeter.dll

I been searching Google for ages with no success
