well the episode is called Dave. So its probly his real name.
It airs tonight (wednesday) in the US, today is thursday in australia.. It should be online late tonight for me to get!

Dave was Hurley's "friend".

Couple of good twists too. I liked it how right at the end they showed Libby in the mental instituation too.
