I need help with microsoft word 2003 go to this link

and then see that line on the toolbar up the top where it says  1 .   .2    . 3   . 4 and it is used to make bounderys and stuff? well i was wondering how to get that on microsoft word because on my computer its not there?

Please help me!

ok thanks for your help, i have one more problem have a look at this screen shot and see those symbols how do i get rid of them everytime i type they come up?

On "View" menu, select any other layout than "Outline".

yep but its still there i think i pushed something in one of the toolsbars  and now it has come up

Hm.  Also make sure you haven't checked "Show Paragraph Marks" under "Tools" menu, "Options", "View" tab.

Thats the paragraph indircator.

To turn that off its next to the font colour icon (Its a "A" with a colour bar under it. The symble you want is a reverse P with two backlines and a solid.. er.. toung?)
