There there a way to open Outlook 2003 in the taskbar near the clock?

Do you mean have a system tray icon that you can click to load Outlook? Or you mean have it minimized to the system tray so you can open it later?

Why not just use the quicklaunch

Yes I know what your refering to but what do you mean.

If you want the first one just use the quicklaunch toolbar.

yes exactly what I want to do sorry, the reason is because I want those pop-up when I get new e-mail and don't want to waist taskbard space.  If that makes sense.

As far as I know Outlook doesn't natively support this. Thus you would need an actual application to do this for you.
