Is there a way to turn custom emoticons off in a convo?
I know its possible to turn off emoticons, but this also gets rid of the default msn emoticons.
The reason for this is, is really annoys me when people substitute these every other word for these flashing emoticons, I'm sure some of you will understand

Maybe it could be a new feature for Plus! Live if it's not yet possible?

Edit 2: is there any way to make it contact specific?

Tools>Options>Messages and untick Show custom emoticons.

No there isnt AFAIK. It has been requested before, maybe we can see if it can be included in future versions of Plus! Live, if it's even possible.

More likely in Messenger itself TBH, as it'll be easier to do there.
