At the moment my msn isnt making any sounds when people send me a message, sign in or even recieve a mail.

It just stopped doing it for some reason this week - Ive checked the options and they seem to be ticked. Any help please?

Have you tried Re-installing or Repairing Messenger?

Also are you set to Busy as all sounds stop when you are set to busy

You can change this in the Options menu

i had this in the second last WLM build, every setting was correct, i uninstalled an reinstalled and te problem remained. (with every status

But now with the latest WLM build everything i okay again.

So sorry can't help you i can just confirm that there is something busted in WLM.

Simple me

I've had this happen to my MSN too.  I've uninstalled/reinstalled... Downloaded file again to reinstall... It happens randomly.  Sometimes there is sound, sometimes there is not.

Not sure of any kind of fix, because when I think I've got it fixed it goes back to not making sound.
