RE: Site advisor
Just another stupid thing that thinks MsgPlus! has spywear.... Don't pay attention to it... Good thing is that one doesn't seem too popular since this is the first I've heard of it.

Anything to do with Patchou or Messenger Plus! is considered as dangerous, even these forums.

In our tests, we found downloads on this site that some people consider adware, spyware or other unwanted programs.
That seems fair and accurate to me.  The Messenger Plus download contains adware, we all know this.  The fact you are prompted whether to install it or not does not make the statement above untrue.

RE: Site advisor
Come on! That only shows 3.61 and 3.62, not 3.63

The current version is 3.63, so who cares. Just believe in yourself, those adware/spyware/virus scanners are not even trusted though.

I used Windows Live Safety to scan my harddisks and found 3.61 installer is an adware, used windows defender, it also shows that 3.61 installer is an adware. Thus, the overall result, it's the installer and not the program; believe in yourself and not those scanners!

Which means msgplus.net IS offering downloads which contain adware and that is EXACTLY what SiteAdvisor says.

The download they talk about IS the installer (which is an adware-bundler).
