my messenger plus! was working find this morning...
then suddenly i noticed it was missing.. i tried restarting it... and all it said was

"the Messenger Plus! Hook couldn't be installed properly onto the system. please reinstall software"

i tried so many times... even uninstalling msn messenger too... but still no use.

any suggestions would be nice.. really tired and frustrated now

Reinstall Messenger
- Uninstall
- reboot
- remove folder in program files folder pointing to it
- remove C:\Documents and Settings\<accountname>\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\MSN ID Number
- reinstall

Use this for account number

Then try re-installing Plus!

hmm... in documents and setting, under username.. i dont see the rest of this directory

"Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\MSN ID Number"

is there another path i can get to it?

you have to replace "MSN ID number" with the number for your account which you can find here: http://www.m00.cx/misc/msgrid.php

In my computer go to Tools>Folder Options>View and check show hidden files and folders to view Application Data.

Thats not what he wants . He says that he cant view Application Data which is a hidden folder.

And please dont double post use the edit button .
