Can someone plz help, i need auto accept for video working, it works for file transfer but when i do a video chat request nothing happens, just sits there waiting for me 2 click accept
can someone plz help because it's the difrence between me being able to use messenger live or not and i need it for other fetures 2

Are you filtering your contacts? Does it accept normal Webcam requests?

yes it is set 2 accept all requests, i have it set up on 2 diffrent computers plus i have a freind testing as well and no matter what i try, it wont accept video requests, files trafers and stuff work fine but not video requests

To answer your PM yes it does work.

Is your Windows Live Messenger patched in any way shape or form?

Auto-Accept is much pickier on this version.  The window must be open and not minimized.  Once it is open I have noticed a few seconds of lag before it accepts.  Hope this helps

I am also having trouble with auto-accept video call and yes I am set to accept all requests....i have tried it full screen an minimized and also from the closed conversation window.......please help...


I have tried everything listed here and nothing seems to help also voice call doesnt auto except ....I have no patches installed...despite everything that I have tried this Function does not work....please advise....

even a clean install of windows closely follow by messenger live and plus live dosnt help, this is very annoying coz it's the only reason a lot of people use msg'r plus and it doesnt work , argggghhhh,  plz help

And to answer Matty's Question above yes it does auto accept regular web cam requests.........Thank you in advance for any advice you can give to help fix the problem....

i had the same problem. the problem was there during beta test. it is the main reason for me to use the Plus! now, i had uninstall the 8.0 and return to the 7.5.

i had test the following envirnment:
clean install msn 8.0 release version with any patch;
msgplus 4.0.0.325 release on 24th June 2006;
opened instant message window, minimized window, and closed window.

the auto accept could work for file transfering request, but not for video and voice call request.

I'm having the same problem with video call not accepting.  I ended up going back to msn 7.5.

Do we have any solution yet?  Thanks.
