RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
I just wish the scripting API had events for packets coming in/out.
So you can parse them as a string and alter them if you need to.

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
OPEN/CLOSED WINDOW NOTIFIERS DO NOT WORK ANYMORE SINCE A LONG, VERY LONG, TIME NOW.
It has been explained countless times before on every Messenger related forum that they do not work and why they do not work. Anybody or any program which claims it works is absolutely wrong!!!!!!
There is NO, I repeat NO, unique identification anymore to know when a window was opened or closed. Since there is no unique identification anymore there is NO way in knowing if the notification you got was correct or not.
The reason why it was included back in StuffPlug was ONLY because people couldn't accept it didn't work anymore and kept on whining about it.
Such notifications are NOT reliable AT ALL...
PERIOD
If you study the protocol, you would know that they don't work anymore. So please stop asking about them.. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE, THEY DO NOT WORK...

Ok mate calm down...lighten up a bit.
But no need to shout at us because it clearly does work! As other people have stated, it is correct most of the time! I have even discovered this by asking people if they just opened a conversation window with me after seeing a notification - 9 times out of 10 they will say "yes!"

I need to shout because apparently there are still people believing such notifiers work...
It does NOT work. No matter how you tested it. If you did proper testing or learn a bit more about the protocol you would soon see that the accuracy of such notifiers is 50/50. In other words: it is pure and only guessing!!! They do not work...
