help me...the logs are in PLE format use what to read them?

Plus!Live Log viewer will open after you've put in the encryption password (on older versions of Plus! Notepad is opened).

but when i click on the chat lo nothing happens it just says PLE file and no programme can open it..well maybe my configuration are rong can advise me plz? thy

Rightclick the file and choose open with > Log viewer - Messenger Plus!

If that doesn't work please state wich version of Plus! you are using (Plus! > about...full number shown there).

I know that but only problem is that nothing happens after double clicking the file...no prompt......(updated) u mean i still ahev to have the older version?

No, it's just to make clear wich version we are talking about, latest for Windows Live Messenger is ver 4.0.0.235


It should work as i described...if not the file association is screwed up somehow...

Possible solution 1:
Reset the encryption password.

Possible solution 2:
Uninstall Plus! including preferences..reinstall and then tell Plus! to log again...note the password on your existing logs will not change unless you tell Plus! to do so...button (see image below).

ok thy will try now...version im using now is 4.0.0.234 currently updating to 4.0.0.235

ok thy can work now...thy lots for your healp...but one more problem the chat thingthe chat room for everyone i cannot get in it shoes cannot be displayed...

You're welcome...as for the chatroom not displaying..it does for me (you will need java to be installed but i assume you have that). Maybe someone else can shed more light on this in your other thread
