O.P. Action box text not showing
I am running XP pro, and have been running MSN messenger 7 with msgplus successfully for a long while. I recently upgraded to Windows Live Messenger, and have installed Messenger Plus!Live. The problem I am having is that the action bars (the ones at the bottom of each window that say "next" "previous" etc) are blank. The same is true for option action bars in the preferences section - for example, under Main->conversations, the action button to the right of "the font used when overriding can be customised:" is blank. The buttons are functioning... in the above example, when I push the action button, the font window comes up.... it's just I can't tell what the action is.
As another example in preferences -> Customize, event notifications, the three action bars to the right of the "configured events notifications" are blank, as well as the three action bars at the bottom of the window.
I was able to install the program, because "next" always tends to be on the right at the bottom, so i took a chance.. but in preferences, it is harder to guess what the button is for.
I have tried uninstalling msgplus!live, rebooting and reinstalling with a fresh download, and the problem remains.
Jul 2: I posted this question awhile ago, and didn't get any replies. I thought I would add a screen capture to better explain what the problem is.
I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions for what might be causing the blank action boxes and how to solve the problem.
Thanks!
Any ideas how I might be able to correct this problem?
