O.P. Mobile Conversation Logs
How come MsgPlusLive doesn't log mobile conversations with my buddies? It's not like my PC needs to worry about space limitations like a cellular phone does. I would really like this to be changed so that I can checkmark an option in the preferences panel and have them logged. Just add a little tidbit at beginning of each log that says, "[Your buddy was on a mobile device during this conversation.]"

RE: Mobile Conversation Logs
IIRC, even though the window looks the same, for a mobile conversation it's actually fundamentally different to a regular conversation. So it's reasonable to assume that Plus! isn't mobile conversation-aware, which could be counted as a bug.

That's interesting that it would be wildly different. I mean cell phones are not using anything that is that much different than your desktop computer or laptop. The applications are made either in Java or BREW and they send/load HTML/whatever else the same way, the screen space is just limited.

I always thought it used the SMS feature of mobiles, that way it works with any phone.

No, otherwise you'd be required to have an unlimited SMS plan. And even if it did, I dont think that should stop MsgPlus from capturing the text you send/recieve on the computer because at some point it has to use the MSN messenger send functions and recieve functions which Patchou seems adept at already tapping into.

Anyone else want to see this feature?
MsgPlus really should log messages from friends on mobiles.

RE: Mobile Conversation Logs
this option would be really helpful for me. i almost never get to talk to a friend of mine unless it's with mobile, and it's a pain to try to save individual conversations as rich-text/text.

RE: Mobile Conversation Logs
Mobile chat windows are currently not supported by Messenger Plus! in almost every way.
I'll add supprot for these in a future version of the sfotware, it's now more useful as more and more peopel are using this functionnality of Messenger.
