well theres someone i used to talk to loads, and what happens is theyre msn doesnt show me as online and i cant see them, and we have not blocked each other.
i have tried deleting them then adding them again, that used to work, but these days it doesnt work at all, which is annoying.

like i say no one has blocked the other, and msn has done this in a few cases.

any ideas what the heck it is, or how i can fix it?

Are you using MSNM or WLM (version?) and what is your contact using?

well they dont come online anymore, due to other cicumstances.

but it was the one just before live came out

And I think you mean MSNM 7.5

Did you both delete eachother from your contacts lists, then add eachother?

i went for a full reset, i deleted and re0added, no joy, so get them to to the same.

but when we ended in a group convo with liek 5 ppl i coudl talk then, okay but they didnt apperar online

When your in a group conversation, can you right click on him (on the right where all the contacts in the group are) and click 'Add contact' ?

i dont know i will have to put this help on hold till the next chat is made
