Up until recnetly I have been having problems using Windows Live Messenger, where my contacts would not completely come up. It also had a yellow notification bar saying 'Due to a connection error changes you make may not be affected on all computers you use' or somethign similiar. Getting fed up with WLM I went back to using MSN7.5.

I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a link to download Plus! for MSN since the old site (www.msgplus.net) is nonexistent.

I got that yellow banner too.. Didn't make a difference with the way my messenger was working though, just had a message there... weird. oh well.

I got that message of 'Due to a connection error changes you make may not be affected on all computers you use' too but I just closed and opened the WLM again and it didn't appeared again

it was an error that was fixed earlier i believe, alot of us got it, and as dbgarza says.. that fixes it.

Check on the Windows Live Messenger Blog (not sure of the link)... to see when they problem is fixed... It is a very known problem as people on the WLM Team are also experiencing the same problem as a lot of you... Be patient and I'm sure the problem will be fixed soon.

Note: because old.msgplus.net will eventually be removed, please refer people to http://www.msgpluslive.net/download/old/ instead (which is accessible with a link from the main download page of the site). The old site should mainly be used to get help on the old software, not to download it.
