Gee - that is fair.

It is some 5/6 months away and you say it is "too late to decide on a location". You've already booked accommodation?

Chris, where did I say it was too late? I said the decision was made by the people organising it, if you want to organise one in Sydney then go for it! But because it's more convenient for those organising it for it to be in Melbourne, then it's in Melbourne. Like I said, go ahead and organise your own if you want. |

Actually either way I won't be attending as I'll be elsewhere at the time. quote:Originally posted by lordy
Chris, where did I say it was too late?

"Sydney doesn't win considering that the votes were counted ages ago" implies that it is too late to change it. quote:Originally posted by lordy

Then there was absolutely no point in the poll then if you were going to decide that either way.

You contradicted yourself by doing so by asking people for where it is to be held and now you're saying it is still in Melbourne because it is more "convenient" for you guys if it is there - that means there was no point in getting other opinions anyway. |

Yes, and what I am saying now is why is it too late for you to even change your mind?

It's not like it has all been organised, dates finalised, people finalised etc so it is no skin off your kneck to actually change it if you did have intentions of allowing it to be in a place other than Melbourne.

As you said, you wouldn't be going anyway, so don't have a whinge about it.

Actually it's more the fact that I am "whinging" for those who would have preferred it in Sydney which did legitimately win out and the fact that you're being stubborn and _you_ (collectively - not just yourself) aren't interested in going elsewhere. |
