tbh Chris, you have no idea what kind of organisation has been done for this!

And considering that two of the people that voted for Sydney don't even live in Australia, then we didn't count their votes. Melbourne still wins out.

Plus the fact that the only people that emailed me expressing an interest were from Melbourne, or weren't fussed about where it was going to be. If those people that wanted it in Sydney had done what I asked and emailed me, then we may well have decided it was going to be in Sydney. As it stands, they didn't, and as such it is in Melbourne.

Once again, those of you who don't like this arrangement can go organise your own.

Yer i agree with lordy, most of the votes were for Melbourne becuase most people live in melbourne. Why bother making  it in sydney or brisbane when only like 5 people live in those states.

i think its funny how you voted for melbourne based on a different of 1 vote between each city. Its quite obvious that this decision is being disputed. I would love to have it in Brisbane, however although i wont be able to go to Sydney or Melbourne, it is only fair (and obvious) to have it somewhere central to all 3.

Still no-one has emailed me like I asked them to. Thats how I'm organising who's going and who's not. So how about stop complaining about it and do what I've asked?

tbh, it's not going to change now anyway. If you can get to Melbourne then good, if you can't then that's a shame, and if you have a severe problem with it, then ORGANISE YOUR OWN.

Did the Toronto and Montreal people argue where the Canadian Plus! meet should be? There can be one in each city if someone is willing to organise them.

People who don't intend to go don't count. Thus Sydney only has 8-9 votes.

Tbh sydney/melbourne/adelaide/brisbane are all good. there are quite a few members from there and they arent that far off too so travelling shouldnt be more than a few hours. Or mabbe as undies said, there can be multiple meets. The thing is, someone should be organising them.
