I Installed MsgPlusLive (and yes i DO have windows live messenger)
but after the MsgPlus had finnished installing and the msn window opened it hadn't changed (no Plus! tab etc) i have tryed restarting my computer and re-installing both but i can't get it to work!

Do you have administrator rights on that account?
Is your messenger patched?
Are there any programs running that prevent writing in the registry (like certain AV programs do or AdWatch)?

You might want to give it a try on the account called "administrator" in safemode (continuously click F8 on startup to get into safemode).

i have administrator privilages and i dont know if its "patched"

ill try in safe mode

should i uninstall windows live messenger and plus and reinstall them in safe mode?

Plus! wont work if you're using MemSkin+. The new MemSkin+ (not released) will be compitable with Plus!

lol yeah that kinda sucks, Plus loads and Memskin cleans it right out

what's a "patched" messenger?

A patched messenger is when you apply a patch like A-Patch or Mess Patch to your Messenger to add or remove stuff.

Or patches yourself via a resource editor or a hex editor.

i have the same issue.

running live on my laptop, installed beta's and it worked peachy. the live needed updating done that and plus went so reinstalled and nothing. not running anything to stop it.
