Hi,
I've just installed Windows XP again, and with it I installed also Windows Live Messenger with MSG Plus! Live.
Before this I had a lot of custom sounds in MSG Plus, and now (obviously) I don't have any.

I backed-up all my datas before formatting the HD and installing Windows XP, and I'm asking you if there's a way to retrieve all my custom sounds from old MSG Plus files...

Did you export all the sounds as a SoundPack? Since that's by far the best way to back them all up and restore them, even across Plus! 3 and Plus! Live.

Can you change them to a media fiel that a media player will play like mp3 or are they that already?

Consider this solved:
after a while I founded the post about Messenger Plus! Sound Library Fixer, and now everything is ok.
