Hey,

I just recently upgraded to Live and got Plus! for it. Previously, I was running a plug-in on MSN Messenger Plus! that allowed the messenger's "Now Playing" to use Winamp rather than WMP because Winamp is the media player I have always on.

Well now that I went Live, I searched for the appropriate script and found the Now Playing script by Matt Labrum (http://www.msgpluslive.net/scripts/browse/index.php?act=view&id=58). I installed it without any problems and it seems to be working fine. But there's just one thing wrong: The status isn't displaying on my Messenger window. At the top of my contacts list where I would type a personal message, I have the "Turn on 'What I'm Listening To'" option checked, but my song in Winamp isn't displaying, even though I have the script installed.

Am I missing something?

I don't think that that script does what you're looking for.

You need a plug-in for WinAmp for it to work.
This might help...although there could be better plug-ins out there, that was the first one I found on Google.

Music Now Playing is a configurable now playing script. It currently supports Winamp and Itunes , in the future it will support more players.

- Download the script, open it, accept the warning and press Import.
- Open a conversation window.
- Click on the Messenger Plus! logo.

Zahid, the script doesn't set your Music status to winamp, and that's what the person wanted...you understood me wrong :/
