Tho i still wanted Schumi to score some points and lessen the gap thus giving him a better chance. The lead stands at 11 points though there are 4 races left right?

10 points (Kubica was disqualified for an illegally light car), with 5 races: Turkey, Italy, China, Japan, Brazil.

I think the main reason Button took 1st is that Alonso and Schumacher had a little qualifying slip-up, and Raikkonen crashed during the race (after obtaining pole). Not that it makes much difference, one race wont do much as he has little points .
I just hope Schumacher beats Alonso in points, I cant stand Renault. Nice to know theres some F1 fans on the forum.

Did you actually watch the GP? Jenson was taking 2 seconds a lap out of Alonso after his splash 'n' go pit stop. 2 seconds! That's a lot in F1. Then after Alonso had his wheel fall off, Jenson was about 20 secs ahead of Schumacher and Pedro with about 10-15 laps to go. During those 10-15 laps, Jenson not only made another splash 'n' go pit stop, but he pulled the overall lead to 30 seconds!
He was going damn quick, and while he was helped partly by circumstances (not being held up, mainly), he didn't win by default.

True, but Pedro could have caught him up, that McLaren was flying, but Schumacher was lapping 3 seconds a lap slower than he was. He was behind him for about 6 laps of somthing in which time Schumacher illegally kept his place, git. I was glad for Jenson but I also was really glad to see Pedro get second. Pity DC couldn't have come third again.
It was funny because they were building it up to be a shit boring race & whoever got pole would win, then IMO it was the best race of the season so far.

Yeah, I also liked Anthony Davidson's "Martin Brundle, what have you done" aswell.
