Hello

I have a problem with the webcam. This may sound a bit crazy but its like this.

I have sended a invitation so that someone could watch me on the webcam, but he/she didnt get a invitation.

When she tried to send me a invitation with the webcam i didnt get it as well. And i dont know what the problem is.

I tested my webcam and it works (my webcam is Logitech Fusion and its just new)

I tried to install older msn version and it still doenst work

So could someone help me?

Don't you get any sort of error message, or does your Messenger simply say "An invitation has been sent..."? You don't mention whether you've tried streaming webcam video to other contacts. For starters you could try this and possibly narrow down the problem to something having to do with your friend's software/configuration.

Ehmm let me explain it a bit better.

I got this problem 2-3 days ago. Before it worked very well.
The problem is that when i invite someone to see me on the webcam, he doenst get this message "  You have ....... invited to look with the webcam to start . You can wait for a reaction or cancel the active invitation (Alt+Q)".
This is also when that person tries to invite me.
But tis wierd because i got this problem with only 1 person.
I have tried with other persons and it worked well.

I also tried to test my webcam and it worked good.

So i dont know what the problem could be.

Could you maybe help?
 

It sounds like the invite is being lost between you and the contact i.e. on the servers somewhere.

Yes its very wierd.
Because i have tried to reinstall msn live. I have deleted msn live and tried to install msn 7.5. But it all didnt work.
Maybe its just because I live in Netherlands and she in France?

Maybe someone has a idea how to help this?

If you got this problem with only 1 person, I think you don't need to search more... Ask her to reinstall messenger to see what appens next. This is the first thing I would do.

no she said she was using msn live. Just like me.

But does it matter if i have msn live plus and she has msn live>?

And could it maybe be the problem of firewall?

No it doen't matter if she hasn't got plus.
But for the firewall, yes I think it can cause the problem...
