Is there a way to disable all alerts (pop ups, sounds, start bar blink) when a message is received. I work in an office and I hide my start bar when I'm not using it but whenever a contact sends me a message it blinks red and pulls my start bar up. Is there any way to disable ALL of them so I'm not notified other than by a window being opened that I have a message (I usually check my msgs every 15 minutes or so).

I don't know about the toasts

You can disable toast with WLM itself. Just to to Tools > Options > Alerts and Sounds and untick everything. Also you can disable the sounds from the same place .

You can turn of sounds and toastss by setting your status to busy too
