I'm going to reformat this machine, and I want to get off all of the files off my computer.

That includes messenger plus sounds (also sounds from my other MSN name that seem shared from mp 3), and other messenger plus data.

If anyone also knows where the files for the WLM custom smilies are too that'd be great...

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Program Data\Messenger Plus!
For Custom Sounds

C:\Documents and Settings\user\Program Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\
Where all the emoticons, winks and backgrounds are stored.
I think cuz my computer is in spanish

For the Messenger Plus! Sounds, the best way would be to export them all into a soundpack, and then re-import it into your sound library after formatting. Simply copying the .dat files will not work, as certain information needs to be added into the registry.

However,  if you do only copy the .dat files, then after the format you can use Messenger Plus! Sound Libary Fixer to re-import them back into your sound library.

All your current Messenger Plus! Live settings can be saved through the preferences.
