I thought it would be interesting, if posts you report come up in a "report" tracker, and then you can see if any action has been taken from your report.

Would it be public though or just in your user cp or something?

User CP only I would think.

I can't imagine it being too hard, the reports already appear in a list in the Moderator's CP thing, and it already shows who reported it, so all that would need to be done would be to show what the current status of the post you reported is.

The problem is, that the admins/mods receive many reports a day, and I dont think that they would really enjoy having to set the status of the report

That is a matter of activity/lazyness.

well it could be done automagically.

If the post has been split, it says split, if it has been deleted, it says deleted etc...
