The ---------------- line isn't clickable, but if you bring the menu up, then go down two and press enter, that comes up.

I get the feeling this is due to how the control itself it implemented, and comboboxes are implemented in Windows, probably somewhere like User32.dll.

So there's nothing you can do about it, unless Patchou codes it to skip the separator.

When the seperator is selected it could goto the next item, but is it really that hard just to scroll down one more time to get to the next category?

That's a known limitation, it annoys me but fixing it properly can be more tricky than you imagine (it's already partialy fixed as you can't click on it).
