Greetings!

I’m not sure if this is a bug or not but here it goes.

When I have the option of tabbed chat activated and I’m talking with more than one friends, the window in the taskbar blinks but it don’t actualizes to the last person that have typed to me.


Example:

Two persons that I’m talking to, so I have two tabbed chats: Person A and Person B.

If I’m chatting to Person A (the chat window caption in the taskbar has the name of Person A). Then the chat window losses focus because I’m doing other things in Windows and Person B chat to me. The window at the taskbar flashes but the caption doesn’t change; it remains with Person A name.



I’m using:
Windows Live Messenger Version 8 (Build 8.0.0792.00)
Messenger Plus! Live Version 4.01.0.240 – Released 16-7-2006
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2

That's by design, part of preventing chats changing when you're typing.

It's not possible to have an option on that.

There is one in Tabbed Chats - wrong contact...but with some consequences as mentioned in Cookie's post with solution/script.
