Ok, so I've checked some threads and can't find a problem similar to mine,  I use windows live messenger and messenger plus live.  i'm trying to get notifications of my gmail account in msn.

i've enter the gmail stuff, usernames and passwords and pop.gmail.com and ports... i've also done that pop3 thing in my gmail account.  then i test it and i get the box that says the mail server has been contacted successfully.  I hit ok there and then apply in the main preferences window.  when i hit apply it disappears.  I don't know why?  can anyone help???

so, i've tried to download the scipt but i get this error message
"you must be signed in before you can import new scipts"
i don't get it cause i'm signed in to both msnlive and my gmail account.  what else is there to sign into?

Are you signed into of the open Messenger? Also did you try http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=61...d=677337#pid677337 ?

i've tried to fill out that box and like i said before the test says that i'm connecting.  but when i try to apply the settings it seems to disappear from that box in the main preferences screen.

messenger is open and signed in.
