How do i un-install the wmp11 skin so it returns to Windows live messengers original look? ive tried running the installer, and all it does is change it to the dark version, then back to the.... un-dark version.

Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs> Scroll to WLM and then click Repair.

yes the installer for wlm and it will come up with options and choose repair

No.

You go to Control Panel (which you can access from the Start Menu), then you go to Add/Remove Programs. Then scroll down to Windows Live Messenger and click Change. Then click Repair in the installer.

@minipatchou:  He was talking about the WMP11 Skin installer, so he's wrong.
