Messenger Plus! Live 4.01.240

I've used MPL for years with no problems but the other day while using WLM it appeared that the tabbed conversations function of Plus caused WLM to crash.  Ever since then, MPL is no longer integrated into WLM.

Now i've done the logical thing of uninstalling both, rebooting, than trying it all from scratch but that doesnt seem to work.  I've also deleted anything left over in their install folders, but to no avail.

I get no error messages or popups when WLM starts up.  It simply turns on without MPL.

is the msn messenger file name changed?
if yes change it to MSN messenger then re-install plus live

the msn file name has not changed.  when i did the reinstall didnt even patch it with the Mess.be patch.

i have no idea what caused it to stop working or whats preventing it from working again on the reinstall.

does anyone know the location of any Plus live files besides

C:\program files\messenger plus! live\
and
c:\program files\msn messenger\

and Plus! Live's entries in the registry... thats the only place i havent gone into yet to modify

try that seems a resonalble idea

I'm having this exact same problem.  I originally uninstalled MPL because WLM would crash every time I tried to start it with MPL installed.  I went to reinstall it today and no MPL. No effects, no Plus! menu, no nothing.

I did a full uninstall of MPL and WLM, deleted MPL's registrey keys, and reinstalled both; still got the same result.
