i dont know why but there is always some ''B'' appearing and it's getting annoying

What on all your contacts nicknames? or your nickname?

What scripts do you have enabled?

mine and contact who have letters like €
i dont have other script on

So let me get this straight...
You see the letter 'B' is your nickname and your contacts nicknames, who have letters like '€'.

Do your contacts see the letter 'B' in their nicknames or your nickname?

What version of Messenger do you have, and what version of Plus! Live do you have?

Have you tried reinstalling Windows Live Messenger?

Please explain in detail.

It's becasue the font you are using doesn't have a glyph for that character. You'll notice that it does show in other places, where a different font is used. The only way to fix it is to use a font that does have a glyph for that character (if you do that, you might not have the same problem with some other character), or use not use special symbols.

I've noticed that I get this more in Messenger than anywhere else, I don't know it it's because Messenger doesn't handle the extend characters well, or just because people on my list use crazy Display Names and I just don't encounter those characters in any other program.

Messenger handles them fine: it's purely down to if the fonts installed have that character as part of it.
