Simply change the sounds in the "Sounds" subdirecty of the Gmail script directory.

eg:
c:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live\Scripts\Gmail Checker\Sounds\newalert.wma
and
c:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live\Scripts\Gmail Checker\Sounds\newemail.wma

i couldnt get that to work. i even removed all but the newemail one and converted it to .wma just to be sure and that still dosnt work

I see, my mistake (although I would call it a bug in the script), for some reason the script is programmed to copy its files to:

C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live\Scripts_Sounds
and
C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live\Scripts_DLLs

It is the files in those directories which are used instead...

no you can just sign up now you dont need an invite (it has been like this for ages now)

The sounds must be copied to another folder, otherwise the script is irremovable because those files are locked by WLM (just like ActiveX dll files)

i still think that the sounds should be customizable through the script because that seems better and easier and also when i change the sounds a week later  the sounds change back to the default ones

hi...great script...except i have one problem...i dont know if its a bug or not...and sorry if this has been mentioned before...i've looked through this thread and couldnt find anything...

i have 3 accounts set up...everyythings fine...they're all working...BUT when i receive an email from ONE of those email accounts, all three say "new email: 1"...

can anyone help me out?
