add al files in to it, start recording an action and save 1 file as jpg and close the file, stop recording, assign hot key, then just keep on pressing it until ur done

Yeah, you just make an action, in your case save as JPG, then go to File -> Automate -> Batch.

Then if you select Folder as Source you can transcode that entire folder at once.

Could be done too, but with batch you don't need to strain your finger on the hotkey
