threads being marked read on refresh?

O.P. Undecided  threads being marked read on refresh?
it seems that whenever I am viewing the latest posts, whenever the page is refreshed, all the unread threads automatically get marked as read.
I have already tried clearing cookies and cache, no effect.
Running firefox 2.0 portable version

anyone have any ideas?

I have the same problem, well mainly
when i refresh all latest posts are marked as read, although i hadnt read anyone
