My computer is very slow so opening contact lists is very slow same as chat windows.
so a little messenger thing that show online contacts and a little box with all messages received and a send box at the bottom

thats not really possabel with scripts, what you need is a seperat program

Try WLM preview box, (see my sig for link) it shows all messages recieved and has an option to send a message back to the contact that you recieved the message from.

It is possilbe with scripts, just not that easy(too my knoledge) but it is definately possible.

no its not, he wants a seperate client that is low on ram and such, that is NOT possable with scripts, WLM will still load normaly the scripts can not change that

Oh, i misunderstood sorry.

Change the size of your contact list window, or use Desktop contacts conjucted with WLM preview box, that should be near good enough.

changing the size of your contact list mean deleting your contacts, simply resizing the window won't help, all your contacts are still loaded at the same time, which can take a while on slow computers
also the desktop contacts arn't useful eather since WLM will still have to load , and then you got all those contacts stuck on your screen

the best option is still a seperat client such as trillian or going back to a previous version of MSN

i might use trillian but that doesnt have the now playing feature though....
i may just stick with wlm
