First of all let may say thanks for a wonderful piece of software and second sorry if a thread like this already exists.

As the subject says I'm having problem with the event log on the WLM beta. It just logs my own actions nobody else's. Anyone know how to solve this if it can be solved.

Make sure the contact filter for event logging is set properly:

Plus! > Preferences > Messenger > Event Logging > Filter

Yep. I have done that. Didn't help.

Then I have no clue at the moment in what can be wrong, sorry (it works perfectly here).

Things to try (very long shots):

- Make sure you have an unpatched, clean version of Windows Live Messenger and aren't running any other Messenger related addons.

- Disable the filter and options and press apply, enable them again and press apply.

- Uninstall Windows Live Messenger completely and after that also remove its directory (C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger), and reinstall it again.
