alright i was in a converstation with 4 people including myself i said /say 2 and it started switching my names around with people not even the in converstation.
I stoped the script and now my name is stuck as someone else and i cant change it.
i logged on 2 accounts at the same time here it is

EDIT:  the address im haveing problems with is the one on the right in the picture...and im talked to my other account with is the one on the left...thanks for any help


EDIT#2: im going to try uninstalling windows live messerger and see if that works

Have you tried cloning anybody since? It might sort things out

Otherwise, just remove (or disable) the script and try logging in again

Just disable and re-enable the script, i think your nick'll be 'unstuck'.
Cloning into a multi-conversation is a problem because you can't select who you want to clone and i think that make a conflict.

If you want to use /say function, there's an another script that copy the name and the color ( my script copy only the name ). Look at a topic with a name like "[beta] imitate".

I uninstalled Messenger plus and the problem goes away...im redownloading messenger plus now

um, or you could just open a seperate conversation with the person you want to clone and type /clone. That's what I do

type  /unclone

Like marc87 said, type /unclone...But if you've stolen only the name without '/clone' command, you can't get back.

I have the same problem, i'm stuk with some one's of my contacts nick and pic.

I'll try to remove all, messenger live 8.1 and the msgplus, i clean the temp internet files, and try it in a another computer, i change manualy but if i enter in the messeger by mobile apears my friend's nick not mine.

Can you help me please
