I do not remember all the passwords to Windows Live Messenger
since its been stored automatically. I have to transfer login
information to the Windows Live Messenger accounts to another laptop.

Where does Messenger save this information? Is it a certain fil that I
can copy?


I know there must be a file or something, because when I am
un-installing Messenger and then re-installing it afterwards, my
accounts and passwords are still there.

Have a look at Find 'AutoLogin' Password??, but unfortunatly the link that TB posted to his app is dead, i'll have a digg and see if i can find the tool somewhere.

There is a major security flaw within Messenger at the moment. Passwords are currently being stored as text!

Thanks but in the post it says i need Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 runtime. I have no clue what that is??

Download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86) first, then try running it.

AHH... now i downloaded the MS Visual c++ thing , but now the link doesnt work!!

but they all cost a lot of money and the dont work.

the one programmed in MS Visual c++ was free and worked. someone must have it.
