I have msn messenger live 8.0, a friend recommended that i get messenger plus

So i download it, and on some mirror pages it freezes through downloading.

I finally managed to find a download, installed it however when i came to using it didnt actually work. I tried changing the colour of my screen name, and i did so, however i cant see it, my friends can see the colour of mine however i cant see the colour of theres. On mine and theres all i see is codes. Also i cannot do any of the other features descibed.

Also there is no plus menu...

I have tried the download several times, from the same website and from other mirror pages but again the same problem persists. Could someone please tell me what i should do.

Try downloading from the Official site and make sure that the version you have is 4.0. if you have 4.10, you wont MAY NOT have any luck since that is for the new beta build of WLM (8.1)

Sorry for asking, but just to know... Plus! 4.10 isn't for WLM 8 too???
Here, I'm using WLM 8 with Plus! 4.10 and no bugs/problems here...

i have sorted out the issue, i deleted sweetim and then re dwnloaded the same Messenger Plus ive been trying n it wrked

Just to finish, I would like to add an information:
Other programs like SweetIM have a conflit with Plus! and don't allow to Plus! to work properly. This afirmation can be verified in many posts about Plus! problem. An example here!
