I had a look around the Sticky threads, and did a search but couldnt find anything that answered my questions, so i thought probably best if i started a thread on this for furture searchers

Ive been using MSNMessenger7.5 with MSGPlus for some time, happy with what it did, but thought maybe its time i try out WLMessenger again!

So i installed it and got WLMPlus and personalised it a little, but the main use of it for me is for logging chats and the event logger.

Thing is, in WLMPlus, you have to click on the Plus! icon then select preferences, then you have to click on messenger tab then again on Event Logging to be able to click another button to display the event logger window!!

I found this a right pain, especially when i only want to glance at the logger then close it again.... Surely there must be a hot-key to bring the window up or something?? The procedure at present, i have to say, is the one reason i stopped using it back in september and went back to the Plus v3. Id hoped that someone made it a bit easier for the user by now!!

Please tell me, am i just ignorant of some hot-key? i couldnt find the option to assign a key-combo to open/close the event logger, nor a quicker way through the menus.

Can any one help and does anyone else find it (Windows Live Messenger Plus) inefficient in this respect??

No hotkey but.. Plus! > Display Event Viewer

the visible window menus is ..well invisible for me lol but i didnt notice that little button before.

I was pressing the icon underneath the screen name before.

Thanks very much, i still think that being able to open the event logger with a hotkey would be a good addition though!!
