O.P. Block Checker
I'm looking for something that'll detect when someone has blocked me.

There are sites for that, but it'd be nice for it to be built in. It could match whether the block checker says they are online, and whether they actually are.

I know it would be inefficient to continously run a block checking script on EVERYONE that is offline, so if we could set the individuals we want, that'd be better.

And also to set how often it checks (once the user IS offline). Usually every 3-4 mins is good enough for me.

Anyone?

There is nothing that can detect if someone has blocked you.

O.P. RE: Block Checker
Didn't know. Although I use these two sites and they seem to work fine for me.
I understand that if people set it so that only people on their list can talk to them, it won't work... but other than that, these links work fine:
 http://www.blockstatus.com/msn/stchecker
http://www.msngeeks.com/index.php?page=blockchecker
Just wanted to know your opinion on those.

But WOULD it be possible for a script to check whether the person is offline and compare it to a script on that site?

 RE: Block Checker
Try putting your own email in, then you will see that they DO NOT work.

Hence why block checkers do NOT work as there is no way in telling if the user has ticked that option or is actually appearing offline....

well, if something isn't reliable, it doesn't work...

If my car doesn't start from time to time, I wouldn't say I had a 'working' car
