O.P. Windows Vista question
Hi,

I have a 2.6ghz processor and Asus P5VDC-MX mother board, I'm getting a copy of Windows Vista Developer Edition from my company and kinda nervous it may not work cause I've tried installing RC1 and RC2 and everytime I tried booting it from the DVD it froze on the main screen where it sais choose language etc.  If anyone has installed that version of Vista has that issue been resolved at all?

Thanks

RE: Windows Vista question
hey,
I am not sure about the devoloper edition but to make sure that your PC is up to the specs for vista, download the upgrade advisor Here

It might just be ur PC not the software so give it a try see what it says.

Hope this helps

RE: Windows Vista question
it always freezes for ~5minutes for me, just let it go for a while and see if it works.

It's a copy of an msdn version of vista developer edition,  I will leave it for 10 min or so and see if it unfreezes
