hi i juss finished installin the lastest version of msn live plus and i noticed that the colour on mi contacts list wasnt there anymore so i tried to go to the plus options nd it gave mi the followin message " an error has ocurred which prevented messenger plus from loading properly, you can try reinstallin the software or wait for an update to be available.''
can anyone tell mi what happened?? thank yu

- Are you using Windows live messenger 8.0/8.1
- Do a clean un-install, navigate to c:/program files/ find the messenger plus live folder and delete (after you uninstalled it from add or remove programs and then download from the official site (http://www.msgpluslive.net/download/)
- Do they have codes in there name replacing the colours?

at the same time a reinstall of WLM would be handy to make sure that it will work properly.

So the process for that is Similar just that you will also need to remove WLM and delete the MSN Messenger folder in C:\Program Files

If you have sweetim or smiley central, remove that as well.

yes they do have the colour codes instead of the colour itself....
