lol...wouldn't let me after I signed in...crashed immediately...but I did look at it not signed in.

It says..

Messenger Plus! Live 4.11.0.254

Don't know why I've got 8.0 today and had 8.1 yesterday but anyway.

Do you have any patches/other add-ons installed? This may also cause this problem.

no I don't...used to have the Messenger Discovery thing that caused the same problem but I was able to remove that completely and it solved the problem that time. The only thing I did this time was try to play Uno.

Is that an official MSN Games game? or was it an added one?
One other thing you may wanna try is when you remove the programs, delete their directory at C:\Program Files\

Have you tried re-installing Messenger Plus Live?

yes, tried reinstalling both and it doesn't work.

It was an official game...never added any before.

ok, uninstalled both then deleted the directory for Plus. Didn't see a directory for Windows Live anymore. I've reinstalled WLM...no plus...still not working.

Windows Live Messenger is still installed into:
DRIVE:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\

hmm must have overlooked it. that fixed it, thank you to those who helped me.
