This has been happening for a while, everyday i sing in i get like 20 invitations from contacts adding me, although they've already added my and they're in my list.
It's so annyoing because every time i have to accept or cancel all the invitations
i have @live.com account
could this be the issue?
or server problems?

Maybe its the @live accounts (mine is a .ca)...but 2 of my accounts are experiencing this error (the other being a hotmail)...so its not just you.

P.S You were one of the people with the invitations.

I get this too and my account is not @live.com its @msn.com

It's probably a bug in WLmsgr.
Are you using the beta verion 8.1 or the final release version 8?

Both betas have this problem. 8.0...I dont know.

Mine just randomly signs out and in again, my friends asked me why i kept signing in and out and i had no clue it was doing it till then, I also get the invitation bug which is annoying, 8.0 didnt have this bug, maybe its come out due to the "message" in invitation so its caused a bug or something?? Also does anyone know exactly whats new or fixed in the beta refresh??

Fixed bugs:
Request of adding DELETED contacts back bug
When added back via the request dialog, the grey icon shows a blocked sign which is fixed in this refresh build.
PSM bug
Duplicate contacts bug
Offline message is much more stable now.. (hopefully)

That's all I think.. Not much of a change though..

note: I'm not really sure these are the bugs that are fixed. On my machine, these are fixed fortunately. (:
